Project Cuddle® is proud to announce our next exciting fundraising event scheduled for:
March 6th, 2010 at our NEW LOCATION ,
The Hilton Long Beach and Executive Meeting Center at 701 West Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA
This year Dinner by the Bay will be hosted by longtime friend of Project Cuddle®, John Stamos!
Dinner By the Bay is a great way to spend an evening, dining, dancing and helping save lives all at the same time. Set against the backdrop of the Long Beach skyline, the Hilton is the perfect place to host this annual event.
It all begins with our amazing Silent Auction where you will find plenty of gift baskets, weekend getaways, spa packages, dinner and hotel certificates and tons of other gifts for men, women and there is always a large assortment of baby items up for grabs. All the proceeds benefit Project Cuddle® and our life-saving cause of stopping baby abandonment.
This year's theme is a fun-filled Aloha spirited party. Come dressed in your best Hawaiian clothes and join in on the fun. The Surf City All-Stars will take over the stage again as they have many times in the past and are an audience favorite.
JOHN STAMOS is currently starring in Bye Bye Birdie as “Albert Peterson” in the first Broadway production in over 48-years.
Actor/producer John Stamos continues to find success in many different areas of the entertainment world. He was most recently seen starring in NBC’s Emmy Award-winning drama series “ER.” Stamos played “Tony Gates,” a maverick, hot-tempered, and flirtatious doctor and Gulf War veteran. His addition to the ensemble cast helped create a resurgence in ratings for one of the longest-running prime-time dramas on TV. Since joining the cast, the show reached its milestone 300th episode during it’s 15th and final season.
Stamos has also enjoyed tremendous success on Broadway, most recently starring in the Tony Award-winning Nine. His Broadway debut came in 1995’s How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and, in 2000, he starred as the Emcee in Cabaret, which was very well received.
Stamos’ career has spanned over 25 years, beginning with the hit soap “General Hospital.” He later segued to one of the most iconic family television programs playing “Uncle Jesse” on the popular ABC series “Full House.”
Stamos has also displayed his musical talents over the past 20 years while touring with “The Beach Boys.” John lives in Los Angeles while not performing on Broadway.
